VideoCast #22 ENG – Vaja i-Volution T7 Case for Treo 700p/w
This is a short video review of this fabulous leather case. Palm Addicts, a remarkable and well know England Palm-related site in colaboration with VajaCases, just organize a contest last month where they give away some Vaja cases.

Now I am the happy winner of one of the cases, and I wish to thank Sammy, CEO of Palm Addicts and Federico from Vaja Cases for the great price that just arrive home, last Friday.
Today I record a little video reviewing the case and just uploaded it to Google Video:
I hope you like the video.
Vaja products are not new for me. In october 2004, after I became part of the PdaMexico Staff, I send and publish my first contribution to the site; It was an exhaustive review of a Vaja Emanon i-Volution Case for Tungsten C.
Since that time, I have been comfortable with the “Vaja User Experience”, however, once I change my PDA for a Tungsten T3 and Vaja did not design any “i-Volution” for this device. When the Vaja case model for Treo 650 was announced, there was a major flaw: A little leather border around the keyboard that represent a stand for the daily usability and free use of the keys.
Now, Vaja has just renewed their Treo Case line and personally I am very satisfy with this case, in terms of use, I have been unable to find any inconvenience with the general design or the manufacturing of the product.
An astonishing and luxurious design, with a fine material as it is the Argentinian leather, with carefull detalis as the engraving of the vaja logo all inside the interior, the little “window” that let us see the state of the led, that also amplify the dim light of the led because of the two translucid plastic parts that compose this kind of window, the Stainless mesh and in general, the precise and exact cut of the case that surrounds the Treo in some much elegance.
In the last article I wrote about Vaja, I mention that the Vaja Cases are the “Cadillacs” of the microuniverse of PDAs and Smartphone cases…..I WAS TOTALLY WRONG.
Now I can clearly see that the Vaja Cases are the “true Ferraris” of the mobile case microuniverse. Definitively, this cases are not cheap, however, they´re worth every penny.
We should not forget that the primary function of any case is the protection and the only visible flaw that the i-Volution T7 has is the lack of screen protection. However, in general, the well thinked design of the case, surrounds and protects the Treo in most ways. The same case is available in the VajaCases site:
You can create different color combinatios between the thousands of possiblities of color that Vaja offers in their “Online Case Builder”. You can also ask Vaja to personalize the case, with your name and/or corporate logo, for a little extra money. Same way, you can ask to create the case with an “Ultra Clip” in order to have the possiblity of transport your device with your vaja case hanging from your belt. Personally I really dislike this idea because of the lack of protection for the screen.
Well, thats all for now, I give you my recomendation for this beatiful cases.
