Chat con pa1mOne – Los encabezados

Por el momento mis actividades se dividen en aplicaciones corporativas, llevo
la relación con algunas empresas que desarrollan aplicaciones para Palm OS,
algunas de ellas son espectaculares y definitivamente han marcado el valor
agregado a nuestro hardware. Por otro lado tambien llevo la responsabilidad de
homologar en este momento el Treo 650 con los carriers como Telcel, Movistar, en
diferentes redes como GSM y CDMA. Asi que muy pronto veremos mas gente
utilizando la mejor herramienta oficina wireless que es el Treo 650.

At the
moment my activities are divided in corporative applications, I take the
relation with some companies that develop applicationss for Palm Os, some of
them are spectacular and definitively they have marked to the added value for
our hardware, on the other hand also I take the responsibility to accredit Treo
650 with carriers like Telcel, MoviStar, at this moment in different networks
like GSM and CDMA. Soon we will see people using the best tool wireless office
that is Treo 650.

Hoy el mercado de
Smartphones es muy importante y estamos trabajando para que palmOne sea el que
dicte las reglas de esta categoria. ¿Competencia??? va a haber mucha, hoy la
competencia viene en cuestion de plataformas. Ustedes saben que Palm OS es el
sistema operativo que usamos, pero que pasa con symbian???, pocket pc??, windows
mobile???. Son plataformas que veremos ya pronto en México en diferentes marcas
de smartphones. Tambien competencia en soluciones de email, hablando hace rato
de Push Email, tenemos a BlackBerry con la solucion de email wireless, es una
buena solución, sin embargo el equipo es muy limitado. Cuando hablamos de
BlackBerry hablamos de solo de correo electrónico, cuando hablamos de la familia
Treo hablamos de oficina completa wireless, en software para email corporativo

Today
the smartphones market is very important and we are working so that
palmOne is the one that dictates the rules of this category. Competition? we’re
goingo to have a lot. Today the competition comes in question from platforms,
you know we´re using Palm Os, but what happens with Symbian? Pocket PC?
Windows Mobile? They are platforms that we will soon see in Mexico, in
different brands from smartphones, competition in email solutions also
speaking for short while of Push Email we have in México BlackBerry with the
solution of email wireless, is a good solution, nevertheless the equipment is
very limited. When we talk about BlackBerry, We talk in
a single email device, when we talk about the Treo, We talk
about a complete wireless office, in software for corporative email we

de “Gerente Móvil” será el definitivo ?

Villarino: No queremos encasillar a solo Gerentes, realmente nosotros
definimos la categoría como una Oficina Movil e Inalambrica, para ciertos
equipos como el Treo, hoy en dia estamos ya haciendo pruebas con una empresa
para tener citrix en equipos pa1mOne, y esa es una solucion buenisima para
pequeñas empresas.

the Chat Room: Speaking of the new category of pa1mOne, the name of “Mobile
Manager” will be the definitive one?, don´t you think “Mobil Admin” sounds
better ?

Answer: We do not want to really classify to single Managers, we define the
category as a Mobile Office and wireless for certain equipment as the Treo today
in day we are already testing with a company to have Citrix, and this solution
it´s good for small companies.

Hoy en Estados Unidos
algunos carriers ofrecen planes ilimitados de datos, con un costo aproximado de
$20 USD, suena buenisimo y espero que pronto los carriers en México y en
Latinoamérica ofrezcan estos precios.

en CDMA. Y respecto a la versión GSM pronto saldrá una actualización.

supuesto, nuestro target es ir incrementando estas empresas nuetros beneficios
son muy tangible para estas empresas y todas las empresas que desarrollan para
palmos tienen acceso a estos beneficios.

answer: Off course. Our Target it´s to be increasing these companies. The
